You’ve probably heard people complaining about light pollution before, but if you rarely leave urban areas you may not have noticed just how fascinating the night sky can be. On a clear night, away from the city lights, it’s possible to see satellites traversing the sky and hundreds of ‘shooting stars’ darting through the atmosphere.
We don’t have a political stance on light pollution, we just recommend that anyone living in an urban area goes out and experiences the ‘excellent dark-sky site’ for themselves.
